I took over someone’s paper round when they were on holiday for a week, and soon realised the postal profession was not for me. I didn’t realise not everyone paid for the service and ran out of papers half way through. Some people were delighted with their free paper, others not so much with their lack thereof.
I’ve always enjoyed getting to know people and what better way to do that than when they are celebrating life events? I feel it’s a very natural profession for me and I’ve been lucky to have been inspired by some great mentors along the way.
I would say I am a life loving, empathetic, dreamer.
The relaxed nature of what we do here is very much my style (which is just one of the reasons I chose to get married here myself!). For couples who are looking for something less formal, but still has that jaw dropping aesthetic, I feel we really hit the mark every time.
I really love the realisation of seeing a couples wedding day take place and thinking about when they first booked and those first chats about what they wanted for their day. It’s amazing to watch the team and all of the suppliers pull everything together for them after all the planning.
We have a close team here at the Rabbit and our couples are genuinely at the heart of what we do every day. Whilst we are all looking after our own couples, we are very supportive of each other behind the scenes and I think that gives everyone that little bit more confidence.
I feel like it’s probably Whatsapp? Those group chats are lighting UP during wedding season!
I would LOVE to be able to sing properly, but alas, I will just stick to murdering songs during karaoke for now.
I think I would be interested to see how Jeff Bezos spends his time.
My walk in song was Kanye – Good Life! (FYI, I got married before he totally lost the plot)
