Meet Claire

What was your first ever job?

Bar tender at Sense Nightclub in Cookstown. Probably the last time I was ever on the wrong side of the bar.

What inspired you to get into the hospitality industry?

It sort of happened by accident. I was living in Australia & I went for a job interview for ‘reservations coordinator’.

The idea of working alongside events / weddings intrigued me, 7 years later, here I am!

How would you describe yourself to someone who’d never met you?

Bubbly, warm, energetic & slightly chaotic.

What is your favourite thing about weddings at the Rabbit?

The room décor, service style & relaxed approach to a wedding day offers guests something totally new & different.

What is your favourite part of wedding planning?

It’s bittersweet, but the friendships that I build with my couples. It truly is magical getting to witness them enjoying the best day of their lives.

Which in turn makes me sad because they aren’t in touch as often when the day is over.

What do you feel is the Rabbit wedding team’s biggest strength?

The relationship & rapport we build with our couples – 100%!

Most used app on your phone?

Instagram, Obvs!

What is a skill you’d like to learn?

I’d like to sing & dance in a Coyote Ugly bar. If I wasn’t a wedding planner, that’s where I’d be. Even though, I lack skills in both singing & dancing!

If you could live someone elses life for one day, who would it be and why?

No one in particular, just someone who was a billionaire & retired at 30.

The Iconic Loft Question: What is your wedding walk in song?

American Boy – Estelle & Kanye
