Accessibility


Do you have accessible guestrooms?

Yes. We have one accessible Comfy guestroom, designed to support a range of accessibility needs. The room includes a walk-in shower, grab rails, a built-in shower chair and an emergency pull cord. Shower stools can also be provided on request.

To get to our guestrooms in the hotel, there are a small number of steps leading to the first floor. A lift is available, however it provides access to the first floor only.

Everyone’s access needs are different, so we always recommend getting in touch with our management team before your stay. They’ll be happy to talk through the layout, facilities and anything else you might need to make sure your visit is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Parking spaces closest to the hotel entrance are reserved for guests with accessibility needs.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements


If you suffer from any allergies or dietary requirements, it is very important that the exact nature of such allergies is notified to us at the time of booking. 

Galgorm Collection is fully committed to the safety of its guests. While we make every effort to accommodate individual needs and prepare dishes accordingly, our kitchens handle a variety of ingredients, some of which may contain allergens. Despite our careful handling, there remains a risk of cross-contamination.

Breakfast


What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served daily from 7.30am – 10.30am.

We offer a mix of feel-good classics and brunch favourites. Think a full Rabbit Fry (vegan included), smashed avo on sourdough, French toast with bacon and maple, plus cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and great coffee to start your day right. View the full menu here.

Can I have breakfast in bed?

Can I have breakfast if i'm not staying at the hotel?

Not staying over? No problem.

You’re still welcome for breakfast, as long as we’ve got space!

Car Parking & EV Charging


Do you have a car park onsite?

Yes, there are approximately 84 guest car parking spaces at the hotel.

Guests who are staying in The Lake House have their own parking. 

 

Do you have accessible parking available?

Do you have an Electric Vehicle Charging Point?

There are two electric charging point located in the carpark, nearest to Hunter’s Bar. 

Please download the ePower EV Charging app, available for Apple and Android, or alternatively scan the QR code visible on the side of the charger.

Cancellation Policy


Hotel Rooms

  • Flexible rates can be cancelled or changed up to 72 hours before arrival
  • Late cancellations = 100% charge
  • “Lock It In” and non-refundable offers are fully chargeable at the time of booking
  • Full payment is taken 72 hours before arrival

 

The Lake House

  • Cancel up to 14 days before arrival
  • 30% non-refundable deposit taken at booking
  • Remaining balance charged 14 days prior

 

Day Spa Packages

  • Cancel up to 5 days before arrival
  • Late cancellations incur a 100% charge
  • 30% non-refundable deposit required at booking

Check-In & Check-Out


What time can I check in and out?

Guests can check in at 3pm and check out at 11am.

 

What can I expect when I arrive at The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat?

Head to the hotel’s front entrance with your luggage and check in at reception.

Arriving before 3pm?

Once you’re checked in, we’ll hook you up with robes and flip flops. Change into your swimwear, leave your luggage with our reception team and head straight to The Spa to unwind. When your room is ready, swing back by reception to grab your key. Your luggage will be waiting for you in your room.

Arriving from 3pm onwards?

Simply check in at reception, head to your room and get ready to relax in The Spa.

 

Can I get an early check-in or late check-out?

Want a little extra time?

  • Hotel rooms: £20 per hour
  • The Lake House: £50 per hour

Early check-in is available from 1pm and late check-out can be arranged until 1pm. Just reach out to Reservations or Reception to see what’s available.

 

Can I check-in online?

Dog Friendly


Can I bring my dog?

Yes, our resident pup Florence loves to make new friends!

Guide dogs are welcome throughout the hotel and we have selected dog-friendly rooms available to all guests.

 

Where can I dine with my dog?

Dogs are welcome in Hunter’s Bar. You can choose from the same menu's offered in the restaurant.

 

Which rooms are dog-friendly?

All Comfy and Comfy with Outdoor Bathtub rooms (subject to availability).

Group Rooms


Yes!

  • Comfy XL rooms sleep up to 3 guests
  • Attic XL rooms sleep up to 4 guests

Cots and camp beds are available on request — just let Reservations know when booking.

Gym


There is no gym on-site at the moment (spa days still count as exercise, right?)

Luggage can be stored with us. Just ask Reception!

Public Transport


By train:

  • Antrim Train Station is 12 minutes away by car

  • Mossley West Train Station is 14 minutes away by car

By bus:

  • Antrim Rail & Bus Station is located 12 minutes away by car

  • There is a bus stop right outside the hotel on the main airport route as well as direct links to Belfast City Centre

Smoking Policy


The Rabbit Hotel is a non-smoking building. There are multiple ‘Comfy Rooms with Outdoor Bathtub’ in which guests are permitted to smoke cigarettes, e-cigarettes & vapes as well as selected 'Comfy' & 'Luxe' rooms that have balconies.

Guests can also make use of the courtyard area of Hunter’s Bar to smoke in, which is fully equipped with sheltered tables and heated seating. 

The Lake House


How far is The Lake House from the main hotel?

It’s just a 5-minute walk. If you’re driving, you can park right outside The Lake House.

I want to take my kids. Can they use the hot tub?

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the Hot Tub at The Lake House or Luxe Room with Hot Tub. 

Users aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the Hot Tub.

A cover is provided for the Hot Tub but parental responsibility will be required to ensure the safety of children at all times.

Wi-Fi


Guest Wi-fi is available throughout the Hotel and The Lake House, on us!
